Win Win is a mysterious American rock & roll band whose catalog was unearthed in late 2018 by musicologists from The Center for the Preservation of Musical Integrity (CPMI) who were charged with the excavation of a secret catacomb below Marc Bolan's tomb at Golders Green Crematorium in London.

 

The members of Win Win remain elusive and are identified by The CPMI only as X, !! and ??

Among the theories that exist is the possibility that, like Elvis, Jerry Lee Lewis, Otis Redding, Jimi Hendrix, Randy Rhodes, D Boone, Prince and other visionaries throughout rock history, Bolan had been taken aboard an alien spacecraft where musical secrets were divulged through time travel. This theory posits that Bolan travelled with the aliens to 1983 where he discovered Win Win playing in a Pittsburgh bar, took them aboard and made these recordings (re-mixed and re-mastered under the direction of the CPMI by The Compound and Gench Studios respectively.)

After returning to 1977 with the recordings, Bolan was tragically killed in a car crash and the secret of Win Win died with him...

Some in attendance at the Pittsburgh show confirm that Win Win were vaporized mid-set or sucked out of the venue on a beam of light. Still others say they were merely too drunk to play, argued on stage and left. No confirmed sightings or recordings of the band exist after 1983, but there are hundreds of unconfirmed reports, photographs and videos from all over the world being analyzed by the CPMI.
